- Grape Varieties: Selection of the best grapes from our old vines of Quinta dos Frades. Old vines with more than 23 different grape varieties, such as Bastardo, Rufete, Donzelinho, Tinta Francisca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, Tinta Carvalha, Tinta da Barca.

- Harvest and Winemaking: The grapes are manually harvest with a selection of the best grape bunches.On arrival at the wine cellar the grapes are placed in granite open fermenters (Lagares) and foot trodden during alcoholic fermentation, after the wine matures in large old casks.
- Ageing: Aged in old Portuguese oak casks.
- Tasting Notes: Appearance: A pure and intense purple colour; Nose: Intense and complex given by the exceptional year of 2017; Palate: Sweet and substantial with a great structure and foretelling a positive evolution over the next two decades.
